DC

September 22, 2009

The DC area is awesome.  If I had a little stability in my life (job, relationship, living situation), this is definitely a place I’d choose to be.  Good weather, college-aged town, and a good sports market despite the fact that I’d still be a lifelong Minnesota sports fan.  I’m sure the allure of the sights and the feel of the place would eventually become commonplace, but for the first few months/year I’d be a happy camper.

Went out tonight with the college crowd. Some old friends from school. We planned on really getting after it, but between Mally’s head cold and my financial stinginess, we’re now back at Spoons’ place watching MNF after a night of unsuccessful shuffle board.  Somehow this is a win for the day overall.  We’re leaving tomorrow for North Carolina with, of course, a stop at Elon.

Leaving Jersey…
Leaving

Been on the road for 2 days now. We just arrived in D.C after spending a night in Philadelphia, which was a lot of fun.

We don’t have much to share yet, so I thought I’d just post some pictures of highlights we’re planning on seeing.

A bit about this:

Drew and I are moving to LA and we figured that a month long road trip out there would be a great way to see the country and some friends. We’ll post videos, pictures, and text on here so you can follow us along the way. Thanks for checking it out.
